ONE PERSON SERIOUSLY INJURED IN CENTER CITY SHOOTING

Allentown, Pa. - Allentown EMS and Police were summoned to 8th and Turner Streets around 15:00 hours Wednesday afternoon for a shooting. Police found the victim closer to Chew Street on 8th and was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Police closed off North 8th Street between Turner and Chew Streets while they investigated.

This street closing along with Tilghman Street at 5th caused a rush hour nightmare for commuters looking to leave the city.

TEENAGER SHOT IN EAST ALLENTOWN

Allentown, Pa. - Saturday night around 23:55, Police and EMS are sent to 1136 East Livingston Street (between Kiowa & Lacrosse) for a report of a shooting.

Crews arrived and found a teenager with at least one gunshot wound to the Body, he was transported to a Local Trauma Center for Treatment.

Allentown Police close off the area and search for clues and attempt to find witnesses to what occurred.

HOMICIDE:  BOY GUNNED DOWN AND KILLED IN CENTER CITY.  POLICE INVESTIGATE BLOODY SCENE

Allentown, Pa. - Police and EMS responded to a report of a shooting around 23:50 Monday night on Oak Street in the area of North 10th Street.

When police arrived, they found a person down in the middle of Oak Street just east of tenth. EMS placed a blanket over the bloody body. Police now say it was a 16 year-old boy who was murdered.

Lehigh County Coroners office and the District Attorneys office were also called to the scene.

A man and a women arrived later and the women was screaming she wanted to see her son.

Police placed a person of interest in the back of a police car. It is unknown what role this man played in the shooting.

FEMALE SHOT IN LEG ON POPLAR STREET

10:00 PM Thursday night, Police and EMS were sent to Poplar and Allen Streets for a shooting. Police found a female at Poplar and Mary Streets with a gunshot wound to the lower leg. She was transported to an area hospital by Allentown EMS.

Police investigated the scene for a short time and called A.F.D. in to clean the sidewalk.

MAN SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES ON 7TH STREET HALF BLOCK FROM NEW ICE ARENA CONSTRUCTION SITE

Allentown, Pa. - For the second time Tuesday, gunshots ring out in center city. This shooting, the second of the day, is a man shot just half a block from the new arena in the 100 block of North 7th Street.

The man was shot numerous times in the abdomen in the parking lot just north of the 7-Eleven store at 7th and Linden Streets. He then ran into the store seeking help.

Police taped off a large area from Linden, north around the parking lot and west to Hall Street, where the suspects fled north on Hall Street.

Police hand-cuffed and detained numerous people near the crime scene. One man was placed in back of a police car.

Evidence markers littered the 7-Eleven parking lot and the lot to the north.

The victim is in critical condition.

The first shooting was in the area of 14th and Chew Streets. Police and EMS found a man with a gunshot wound to the ass. Police were having trouble finding the actual crime scene.

MAN SHOT TO DEATH IN BETHLEHEM SATURDAY NIGHT

Bethlehem, Pa. - Approximately 22:30 Saturday night Police, Fire and EMS respond to the area of 8th Avenue and Union Blvd. for a report of a shooting.

Emergency personnel find the victim, a 21 year old male, at 744 8th Avenue with a gunshot wound to the back. EMS transport the male to the St. Lukes Trauma Center where he died of his injuries.

Police were in the alley between 7th and 8th Avenues investigating the scene as well as the house at 744 8th Avenue.

SHOOTING IN WHITEHALL NEAR PARK SENDS ONE PERSON TO HOSPITAL

Whitehall, Pa. - At 19:04 both Whitehall and Allentown Police and Allentown EMS responded to the area of Jordan Park near the northern city limits for a report of a shooting. Police found a victim with a gunshot wound outside the Taqueria Mexican Food at 1033 N. 6th Street inside the Whitehall Township line.

Allentown EMS and a Whitehall police car rushed the victim to a local trauma center. The person was in critical condition.

At the scene, both Whitehall and Allentown police officers investigated the scene. Police cars had North 6th Street closed north of Sumner Avenue.

A Whitehall Fire Department Engine was requested to the scene to provide a ladder for police officers so they could get to the roof of the restaurant.

The investigation continues.

2 SHOOTINGS LEAVES ONE PERSON SHOT IN CENTER CITY

Allentown, Pa. - Approximately 12:45 AM Police and EMS responded to the area of 10th and Turner Streets for a shooting. EMS units staged a block away while police investigated and secured the scene. EMS was then called to the front of 143 Turner Street for a person shot.

EMS transported the person to the Trauma Center at Cedar Crest and I-78 and requested Salisbury Police to stand-by at the Emergency Room. The person had a gunshot wound to the chest and is expected to survive.

While police investigated the shooting in the 100 block of Turner, another call of shots fired came in for the 700 block of Chew Street near the Central Fire Station. Police investigated that report and found no victims.

Police are investigating both scenes to see if they are related. This is the second shooting in the 10th Street area in three days.

SHOOTING: MAN SHOT IN BROAD DAYLIGHT IN CENTER CITY

Allentown, Pa. - At noon Monday, Police and EMS responded to the area of 10th and Gordon Streets for a man down result of a gunshot wound in the neck from a shot gun.

Shortly after, the Emergency Response Team was activated for a home in the 900 block of Pine Street where Police thought the suspect was in a house. Police evacuated surrounding homes while Police tried to talk the suspect out of the house.

After 6:00 PM Police finally cleared the home and found no suspect.

VICTIM FLOWN AFTER BEING SHOT AT LARGE PARTY IN LOWER SAUCON

Lower Saucon, Pa. - Police and EMS were called to 4018 Sherry Hill Road for a shooting at a large party around 01:30 hours Sunday morning. EMS units were staging away from the scene until police could secure the area. Once they found the victim, EMS was brought in and a medical helicopter was flown in to transport the victim.

The victim had multiple gunshot wounds and was in critical condition.

Five people were detained and transported to police headquarters for questioning.

The crowd, estimated to be over 100 people, had their cars searched as they left the party. Multiple police agencies assisted Lower Saucon Police.
