2ND ALARM: FIRE DAMAGES HOUSE IN SCHUYLKILL COUNTY

Ashland, Pa. - At 09:37 hours, Ashland Fire was dispatched to 1307 Race Street for a reported house fire with entrapment.
Police arrived on scene to find smoke showing and ammo exploding in the house.
Ashland Fire Chief then ordered a second alarm to the scene. Searches came up negative.
Mount Carmel, Girardville, Gordon, Englewood and Altamont Fire Companies assisted at the scene.
The fire was under control at 10:20. No injuries were reported.
