2ND ALARM TRANSMITTED FOR SMOKE CONDITION IN SOUTH WHITEHALL OFFICE BUILDING

2ND ALARM TRANSMITTED FOR SMOKE CONDITION IN SOUTH WHITEHALL OFFICE BUILDING

South Whitehall, PA - Lehigh County Fire Dispatch alerted South Whitehall companies 32, 11 and 3 for a report of smoke from the walls at 1501 Cedar Crest Blvd. around 09:25 this morning.

Chief 3201 (Held) transmitted the 2nd alarm enroute to bring more manpower to the scene. 1501 is a 1-story office / medical building. The building was evacuated while the fire department investigated the smoke.

The Fire Marshall's office is investigating the cause of the smoke. Companies from Whitehall and Upper Macungie assisted South Whitehall at the scene. No injuries were reported.
