Chalfont, PA - Shortly after 22:00, Bucks County sent companies to 77 Bristol Road, Salvage Direct in area of the railroad tracks for a reported building fire.
Chalfont Chief 34 arrives and has heavy fire through the roof of the 100 x 400 building. Heaviest lines were ordered to go into service and a second-alarm was transmitted.
Bucks County also had another two-alarm fire a short distance away in Telford at 3175 Quarry Road, with fire through the roof at this fire.
Three ladders were in-service with their elevated master streams.
The fire eventually went to three alarms by 22:45 hours. Crews did a good job holding the fire to the office area.
The fire did extend into the work area of the building but firefighters held it from there and stopped the fire from extending to the rest of the large building.
