POLICE RECOVER STOLEN VEHICLE WITH BABY IN BACK SEAT

Allentown, PA. - Just before 14:30, a woman reported her car stolen in the 200 block of Susquehanna Street on the city's southside - with her 1 year-old baby in still in the back seat.

Police immediately a full search of the city and surrounding area's looking for a 2001 tan Jeep Cherokee.

About 30 minutes later, police find the vehicle with the baby inside in the 600 block of Gordon Street, between 6th and 7th Street in center city after a passer-by heard a cell phone ringing in the car and seen the baby in the back seat.

The baby was not injured and the mother was re-united with her baby.
